I’m Julie, the heart behind A Simple Homebody. At my core, I’m a homebody who finds comfort in the simple things—a cozy space, a timeless piece of decor, or even the perfect scrunchie. What began in 2020 as a creative escape—upcycling scrap fabric into hair accessories—has grown into a shop that celebrates simplicity, sustainability, and thoughtful design.

From claw clips and scrunchies (a true homebody’s essentials!) to vintage glassware, stone, and metal accents, everything I curate is meant to bring beauty and purpose to your everyday life. Each piece tells a story of embracing imperfections, valuing what lasts, and creating spaces that feel like home.

Keep it simple. It’s about finding joy in the little things, making mindful choices, and surrounding yourself with pieces (and people) that make you feel good.
